Feedback can be one of the most exciting effects for guitarists, but it can also be unpredictable and unreliable. That’s where the DigiTech Freqout pedal comes in. This pedal allows you to control feedback at any level, whether your tone is clean or distorted. You can select feedback at different frequencies, with seven distinct feedback harmonic types: Sub, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 5th, NAT Low, and NAT HI.

The momentary switch can be set to “ON,” enabling feedback only while you hold down the footswitch. Alternatively, when set to “OFF,” feedback can be continuous or activated only while holding a note, making the DigiTech Freqout a highly expressive tool.

Another fantastic feature of the Freqout is the Dry Switch. By turning this switch “OFF,” you eliminate the dry signal, allowing you to hear only the feedback. This can create an effect like an electronic bow sound.
